{"id":3065,"date":"2025-07-29T17:10:16","date_gmt":"2025-07-29T15:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/marie-vincent.org\/en\/?p=3065"},"modified":"2025-07-29T17:10:16","modified_gmt":"2025-07-29T15:10:16","slug":"our-2024-2025-highlights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old-marie-vincent.agencearobas.ca\/en\/our-2024-2025-highlights\/","title":{"rendered":"Our 2024-2025 Highlights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"212\"><strong data-start=\"60\" data-end=\"99\">Your support is transforming lives.<\/strong> Thanks to you, we were once again able to advance our mission this year with strength, conviction, and impact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"214\" data-end=\"329\">As we began the year celebrating the 50th anniversary of our Foundation, here are some highlights from 2024-2025:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"1718\">\n<li data-start=\"331\" data-end=\"391\">\n<p data-start=\"333\" data-end=\"391\"><strong data-start=\"333\" data-end=\"346\">359 youth<\/strong> received support in their healing journey.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"392\" data-end=\"475\">\n<p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"475\"><strong data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"409\">221 parents<\/strong> benefited from tailored guidance to better support their child.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"476\" data-end=\"615\">\n<p data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"615\"><strong data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"498\">The waiting time<\/strong> to access our services continued to decline, reaching <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"575\">8 months this year<\/strong> (compared to over 24 months in 2020).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"616\" data-end=\"756\">\n<p data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"756\"><strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"672\">More than 300 live and on-demand training sessions<\/strong> reached <strong data-start=\"681\" data-end=\"709\">over 6,000 professionals<\/strong> working with youth across Quebec and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"757\" data-end=\"858\">\n<p data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"858\"><strong data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"784\">8 prevention projects<\/strong> were implemented in about a hundred settings and partner organizations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"984\">\n<p data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"984\"><strong data-start=\"861\" data-end=\"894\">More than 25 prevention tools<\/strong> were created or enhanced, including children\u2019s books, posters, video clips, and guides.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"985\" data-end=\"1069\">\n<p data-start=\"987\" data-end=\"1069\"><strong data-start=\"987\" data-end=\"1003\">574 requests<\/strong> were processed through our advisory services for practitioners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1070\" data-end=\"1160\">\n<p data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1160\"><strong data-start=\"1072\" data-end=\"1084\">$405,000<\/strong> was raised through two of our signature events, the <a href=\"https:\/\/marie-vincent.org\/en\/14th-edition-of-the-cfo-dinner-marked-by-generosity-and-solidarity\/\">CFO Dinner<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/marie-vincent.org\/en\/ombre-2024-200-young-professionals-raise-close-to-70000-in-support-of-young-victims-of-sexual-violence\/\">Ombr\u00e9<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1161\" data-end=\"1251\">\n<p data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1251\"><strong data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1179\">Over $30,000<\/strong> was raised through a dozen initiatives organized by engaged partners.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1252\" data-end=\"1449\">\n<p data-start=\"1254\" data-end=\"1449\">We contributed to the work of the <strong data-start=\"1288\" data-end=\"1385\">Special Commission on the Impacts of Screens and Social Media on Youth Health and Development<\/strong> by submitting a brief and participating in a virtual hearing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1450\" data-end=\"1718\">\n<p data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1718\">Our actions were covered by several media outlets and recognized by political leaders, including being awarded a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/17HhXBsv9r\/\"><strong data-start=\"1565\" data-end=\"1611\">medal of honour from the National Assembly<\/strong><\/a> by Rosemont MNA Vincent Marissal and being named a finalist for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1S1qpqP8wL\/\"><strong data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1715\">Th\u00e9r\u00e8se-Casgrain Equality Prize<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1720\" data-end=\"1879\"><a href=\"https:\/\/marie-vincent.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/MV-rapport-activites-24-25-final-an.pdf\">Our 2024-2025 annual report<\/a>, under the theme <strong data-start=\"1765\" data-end=\"1835\">\u201cA Garden of Possibilities at the Heart of a Protective Community\u201d<\/strong>, reflects a year rich in accomplishments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1984\"><strong data-start=\"1881\" data-end=\"1982\">Thank you for standing with us.
